Finale of Celebs Go Dating Comes to an Epic Conclusion in Cape Verde
Just last month, we welcomed the Celebs Go Dating cast and crew to the Sal Island shores to film what would be an action-packed finale for the programme. The seven stars had their last chance to take a date with their would-be partners while they spent their time soaking up the sun on the Island before a party at the glamourous Bikini Beach Club.
Ollie Locke, Sam Thompson, Gemma Collins, Mike Thalassitis, Tallia Storm, London Hughes and Jade Jones all stayed in our 5-star Resorts while they were filming, alongside judges Nadia Essex and Eden Blackman, and receptionist Tom Read-Wilson. As the seven hopefuls continued on their mission to find the perfect plus-one, they got to enjoy all the best accommodation at MELIÃ Dunas Beach Resort & Spa and MELIÃ Llana Beach Resort & Spa. From the Presidential Suite and duplex apartments to the comfortable villas with a private pool and garden, nothing was too good for the celebrities as they got on with the filming. As the Cape Verde episodes aired on Wednesday and Thursday, audiences got a chance to watch just how much they all enjoyed the Resorts and Bikini Beach.
On Wednesday, after choosing their dates and packing their bags we saw the celebrity contestants head off to Cape Verde, for the Programmes’ ‘most romantic mini-break’ yet. The episode shows extensively the range of the Resort offerings, with each celebrity enjoying the luxury of their accommodation, especially Gemma Collins who had been allocated the Presidential Suite. Not only do they seamlessly settle into holiday life at the all-inclusive 5-star Resorts, but they experience The Bikini Beach Club’s luxury, partying the day away in the endless sunshine at one of its most infamous Pool Party’s.
Founder and CEO of The Resort Group, Rob Jarrett explained “The extensive TV footage of the islands’ beaches, hotels, luxury resorts, spas and food and drink will only increase the interest in Cape Verde. Cape Verde offers year-round sunshine, a short 5-6-hour non-stop flight from several UK airports and luxurious, yet affordable all-inclusive packages. It’s not surprising Cape Verde is attracting attention from singles, celebs as well as families.”
Thursday’s final episode highlighted the various island activities that holidaymakers can enjoy whilst basking in Cape Verdean sun as Celebrities enjoyed horse-riding, kayaking, and beach-front massages, whilst turning its full attention to Bikini Beach Club, host of this series finale.
Andy Osborn, Chief Executive of Bikini Beach Club, said:
“Cape Verde’s mantra is no stress and that’s exactly what we try and create at Bikini Beach Club. With a focus on fine dining, fine wines, cocktails and a pool with a 360 view of the Atlantic Ocean, it is the perfect backdrop ideal for lounging in the sun all day long or dancing into the night.
“This kind of relaxed, yet luxury break can really make a new relationship blossom, or provide the ideal location to find your perfect match. And since the Resorts are all-inclusive there’ll be no fights over the bill. No wonder it has proved such a hit with our Celebs Go Dating guests! A holiday with five-star service, endless sun and a clear blue sea, ensures you can focus on your relationship and making each other happy.”
“Cape Verde ticks all the boxes with nonstop flights from several UK airports providing luxurious, yet affordable all-inclusive packages. With great music, the Atlantic Ocean lapping at your feet and an unforgettable sunset, it is no wonder that Cape Verde is attracting attention from single individuals, families of all ages and a host of celebrities.”
Not only have the episodes raised awareness of the holiday hotspot on TV, but the press coverage has exposed Cape Verde to a wider audience online with the Resorts and Bikini Beach gaining extensive coverage.
