Meliá Llana Beach Resort & Spa Welcomes Belgium Minister for Foreign Affairs
We were delighted to welcome the Deputy Prime Minister of Cape Verde and the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Mr Didier Reynders, on a working visit to the Cape Verde islands earlier this month.
Supported by the Mayor and Victor Fidalgo – Consultant to The Resort Group PLC – we welcomed Mr Reynder’s delegation ahead of a guided tour which took place on 4th April 2018.
Mr Reynder’s party enjoyed the many luxurious facilities of MELIÃ Llana Beach Resort & Spa on the island of Sal. This included a complimentary lunch lovingly prepared by MELIÃ Llana Beach Resort & Spa’s expert chefs.
The governmental visit helps strengthen Cape Verde’s already strong links with Belgium and the Benelux region, which has seen increasing number of its citizens choosing Cape Verde as a holiday destination. The fourth largest tourist population visiting Cape Verde, Belgium has always been a significant supporter of the Islands.
