TUI Sensimar Cabo Verde and MELIÃ Llana Beach Resort & Spa awarded TripAdvisor accolade
Established in 2011 to recognize hospitality businesses that deliver consistently great service across the world, the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is a designation that many look for when choosing their next holiday destination.
The accolade is given to those businesses that consistently achieve excellent reviews over the past 12 months and isn’t won through an application process, but instead is a list chosen by the Review organization for their achievements earned over time. Those awarded have to maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five and have been listed on TripAdvisor for the last 12 months to ensure that the reviews are maintained over a substantial length of time.
Winners are announced in May each year, and The Resort Group PLC are delighted to announce that both TUI Sensimar Cabo Verde and MELIÃ Llana Beach Resort & Spa have been awarded The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2018. The esteemed accolade, which TripAdvisor explains is ‘based on millions of reviews and opinions from users on TripAdvisor’, is one of their best-regarded awards and is a badge of excellence for all those looking for their next vacation.
Opened to guests in December 2016, both Resorts developed by The Resort Group PLC have been met with rave reviews from holidaymakers. Earlier this year, the two Resorts have also been recognized for their achievements in sustainable tourism by the international sustainability certification scheme, Travelife. Awarding the developments their Gold Award Certification for Sustainable tourism, after satisfying over 163 sustainability criteria.
