White Sands Hotel & Spa Update September

There will be a wide range of properties available at the White Sands Hotel & Spa and an incredible array of 5-star facilities so it is exciting to see how far construction has come on the shores of Santa Monica beach. The beautiful Boa Vista, which will play home to White Sands Hotel & Spa when it opens, boasts surrounding turquoise waters and pure white beaches, from which the development takes its name.

The complex is set to have 835 luxurious properties for guests to choose from, including duplex and penthouse hotel suites, and a range of stunning villas. The Resort itself will be split into adult-only and family sections – something the Group planned into the design to ensure that each side provides tailored guest experiences for everyone who comes to stay.

Our latest drone footage shows that the private beachfront villa foundations have been dug and construction has begun in earnest. While the villas start to take shape, the swim-ups can also be seen alongside the deluxe apartments, which will also enjoy views of the open Atlantic Ocean and the famous Cape Verde sunset.

This work has been coming along at a good pace but the main focus recently has been the blocks themselves. There is up to 300 men on the busy working site at any given stage, working hard to ensure the project progresses as quickly as possible. That hard work can clearly be seen in the latest update from the apartment blocks, with the elegant interior design starting to go into selected properties and shared areas. It’s an eye-opening view into what the world-class Resort will look like when it launches in early 2019.
